Vice PM for European Affairs Bujar Osmani met Friday with a visiting delegation of the Pan-European Movement from Germany and Austria. “The pan-European idea for a unified Europe probably represents one of the most progressive and noble ideas of the past century. It corresponds to our strategic interest for full-fledged EU membership,” said Osmani at the meeting. He added that the Western Balkans' integration is one of the largest challenges for regional countries and one of the Union's most important priorities, the Secretariat for European Affairs said in a press release. Osmani said the EU's commitment to the region would culminate at the coming summit in Sofia, while expecting a decision by the European Council in June over the start of Macedonia's accession talks.
