According to Interior Minister Oliver Spasovski, security of citizens and participants in the UEFA Super Cup match between Real Madrid and Manchester United was not endangered and no serious violations of public order and peace were registered. As he added at Wednesday’s press-conference, 14 persons – eight Macedonian and foreign citizens – were detained. Spasovski also said measures were being taken to find a taxi driver that had arrogantly robbed a British citizen of 400 euros and a gold chain. In addition, the Minister pointed to a case in which an Intelligence Agency employee, whose name, according to some media reports, is Blagojce Ristovski, prevented an official person from carrying out an official activity.
