The current political developments in Macedonia are being followed with great interest. On Wednesday, the United Macedonian Diaspora (UMD) said it supported the formation for a stable government and a way out of the two-year crisis, but it added politicians “mustn’t accept the blackmails being imposed on them by the coalition partners.” According to UMD, that harms Macedonia’s national interests. The organisation considers that the Albanian platform shouldn’t be accepted. Alsio, UMD warned the biggest political parties, especially SDSM, that it would not accept a government that put party interests above national ones as legitimate.
